Our OTS was inspired by films such as Child's Play, Chucky and Annabelle. As the title of the film is 'Dolls House', we took the idea from the title and brought it to life. Our OTS is set in a dolls house, where weird and freaky things happen. We thought this idea worked better as it involved dolls, and it was different. As well as that, we had more stable shots, and we went with a linear story, as we originally started with a non-linear, but we felt this makes more sense, and it looks better too.
We challenged the conventions of media by creating an OTS that's never been done before. Doll films aren't big on the market, therefore if we created a film on dolls and people would actually come see it, the percentage would rise.
