Supernatural- Is a manifestation or event attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature. This is beyond man kind, and expanding human nature and is something you don't see everyday. Supernatural has different meanings in different concepts.
In the ancient world, everyone believed in spirits being able to heal them if they were ill. In addition they also believed that the dead were alive and lived in a different dimension, and this was called the 'afterlife'.
